Congratulations to all our Year 11 pupils who have performed extremely well in their GCSE and BTEC studies.  It has been a particularly challenging year for all which makes these set of results particularly impressive.
A big thank you to all the staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the year in ensuring that our pupils are given every opportunity to succeed.

Every individual has a story to tell and several pupils have faced ill-health, bereavement and other difficulties in order to be able to sit their exams.  I would like to congratulate every individual pupil whatever their results and offer everyone our best wishes as they prepare to enter a new and exciting chapter in their lives.

The following pupils have performed  exceptionally well and have attained a remarkable 9 or more A* grades:  Millie-Mae Adams, Beca Davies, Sophie Davies, Beca Evans, Greta Evans, Manon Hammond, Daniel Howes, Ffion Humphreys, Megan Jones, Ioan Llywelyn, Heledd Powell, Rhianydd Preest, Manon Roberts and Ffion Thompson.

30% of all grades attained are A* - A; 60% of all grades attained are A* - B and 81% of all grades attained are A* - C.  Well done to all!

The Capped 9 points score calculates the average of the scores for the best awards for all individual learners in the cohort.  Three of the nine scores are for Literacy, Numeracy and Science, the remaining six will reflect the points attached to each learners’s best remaining 6 qualifications.
The capped 9 score for the cohort: 394
